FREE GUS GUS IS UNDER CONSTRUCTION AND WE WANT TO GIVE YOU FREE MATERIALS!
The Southwest Prevention Center is currently revising the GUS curriculum and Native American and Spanish supplements! During this time some materials may not be available, but rest assured – they will be completed soon!
Also since Growing Up Strong is a research based curriculum, we are searching for classrooms to be a part of our newest evaluation of our most recent edition! If you are an Oklahoma Head Start classroom in Cleveland, Oklahoma, McClain, or Pottawatomie county that has never implemented GUS-- you are eligible to participate!
All participating classrooms will receive free curriculum, supplements, training and materials. The training will be one day and will cover how to use the curriculum in the classroom and how to use program evaluation forms. The Full scale study will begin Summer ‘08 and there will also be a small pilot study for a small group of classrooms in January ’08 so let’s get moving!
